Synopsis:

Cat is a Goth girl stuck in a seaside town who stands out like a dark flower against the small-town landscape. When her dream of a top-notch university comes to nothing, she throws herself into a sexy fling with an older boy, Jesus. But though Jesus is secretive and enigmatic, he begins to hold a power over her. Could it be that Jesus is going to save her?

Saline is about first love and its mythic imagery. It is about whether it is possible to be saved by another person, and about the parts of yourself that get left behind when you finally leave a love affair.
