Jessica Townsend : Writer/Director

Jessica trained as a journalist before becoming a full-time creative writer. Her first play was produced in Hampstead Theatre and was commissioned by BBC films as a feature. Her second won the prestigious Peggy Ramsay award and £25,000.

Since then she has written mostly for the screen on commission from TV companies such as Channel Four and ITV. For film, she has been commissioned by Film Four as well as working on a feature, Almost Heaven, that was produced by a German Company Egoli Tossell (2005).

Last year she wrote and directed her first short film, Four Conversations About Love, which won the Best First-Time Director award at Washington DC shorts festival and was widely shown at festivals including Cannes, Marbella, LA Shorts and La Femme, Beverly Hills. The film now has a distribution deal with New World Films.

Suzie Lavelle : Director of Photography

Suzie started out studying photography and after working as an assistant in the camera department she successfully applied to the NFTS, specializing in cinematography.

Since graduating in 2006, she has been shooting a variety of drama and documentary projects and has had work screened at most of the major festivals and on Channel 4. She also has some of her artist led projects on display in the Tate Britain.

Ariadna Fatjo-Vilas : Editor

Ariadna Fatjo-Vilas has been based in London for the last four years. During this time she has done an MA at the NFTS and worked extensively in the industry as a freelance editor.

Ariadna cuts fiction, documentary and animation films, as well as visuals for events and corporates. Highlights of her work include, “Glow”, shortlisted for the Best British Animation Awards 2008 and broadcasted on Channel 4; “The Memory of Elephants” shown at Palm Springs Film Festival; “A Touch of Sadness”, first prize at Etiuda & Anima 2006 and idents for MTV.

Other films of hers have been broadcast on Channel 4, Current TV and played at festivals around the world (Karlovy Vary, Seattle, Woodstock, “In the Palace” Balchik, Animafest Zagreb Festival).

Richard Hudson : Production Designer

Richard Hudson started working as a Costume and Set Designer at the age of 16. He later studied BA Theatre Design at Central St Martins College of Art and Design.

Whilst studying, Richard worked as a designer for The Blue Orange Theatre Company, receiving a 5 star review from 'What’s On', 'The Stage' and 'Time Out' magazine. He also Art Directed a variety of short films for The International Film School and went on to study Production Design at the National Film and Television School.

On graduating, Richard designed the period drama 'Devilwood' for Hangman Films, starring John Simm and Kate Magowan and has now completed two features, 'The Englishman' and 'Tu£sday', starring John Simm, Kate Magowan, Ashley Walters, Kevin McNally and Philip Glenister.

Richard is now in pre-production for various projects including work with Directors Bernard Rose, Sacha Bennett and Julia Jason, two time Oscar nominated Producer, Mike Figgis and Oscar winning Producer, Hugh Welchman.

Richard also works as a Fashion Production Designer, designing the 2008 London Fashion Week Winter Collection catwalk show for Mustafa Aslanturk and has just completed a 20 page fashion shoot for 125 Magazine. To see Richard’s complete resume, go to: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2078487/resume
